I am a happy to be here resident of Coyote Howls West, Jean at space 20.  Pete and I have been trying to find out why the comment function is not allowing anyone in, actually Pete is doing it, I am watching, my skills on the computer are very limited.  My husband, Charles, and I are new to the area, but are planning on staying.  We actually traded in our big truck for a small one and bought a small trailer for our excursions, and will leave our bigger fifth wheel here as our permanent home. We have always loved the desert and now will have the ability to do some exploring on the back roads!                                                                     We initially stopped at the East park, loved the open bigger spots, but we have a cat , Dolly, we love too much to take a chance on the possibilities that were way too easy over there of a coyote getting her! We are very happy to be here as there are more activities we like here, the community garden where water is available is a good one., and having the ability to "fix up" our space has been so much fun! I am also a devoted recycler, so having this possibility is a real plus for me.  Please add your recyclable items to the collection!  And feed the round composting "monster" by the garden, he is a vegetarian and loves all kitchen scraps, except meat.
This has been a very nice winter, warmer than usual we have been told, I love it!!  I am even looking forward to feeling some real heat, have felt almost what we get here in Utah a time or two, but not 118 degrees!
We really are loving it here, if you are walking by with free time, stop and say hi!!
